The game is broadly very positive, but there is clear dissatisfaction with its DLC policy, pricing, and amount of content. Core fans are highly satisfied with the selection of robot anime series and the battle direction, while repetitive combat and an unfriendly UI create barriers for newcomers and non-core players. · 78/100

Ideal para It is best suited to longtime fans of Super Robot Wars and the original robot anime series. Players who enjoy seeing characters, mechs, and finishing moves from multiple series in a single battle, and who value knowledge of the source material, battle direction, and music, will find it highly satisfying. Conversely, players who prioritize content relative to price, a polished UI, deep strategy, or a linear and tightly written story should consider buying it on sale.

Puntos fuertes

Strong fan service that brings together diverse robot anime series, allowing players to operate their favorite mechs and characters together
Highly satisfying battle animations, including finishing moves and combination attacks, with powerful direction that stirs the “soul of steel”
The turn-based tactical combat and development systems are fun in their own right, and the stage-selection structure is improved over SUPER ROBOT WARS 30

Puntos débiles

The base game has too few participating series and too little story content, leading to complaints that it feels complete only after purchasing the DLC
The base game and expansion content are expensive, and players strongly dislike the sales model requiring additional DLC to be purchased separately
Combat and unit development begin to feel like repetitive chores in the mid-to-late game, with too many missions focused on weak mobs
