Zombie-chan Wants to Be XX (ZZXX)

One year ago, an accident struck a gene therapy research lab on a remote island. Its people left. The island was sealed off. One stormy night, a lightning strike brings the lab’s emergency power back online. Inside a pod, an unfinished experiment opens her eyes. The world would call her a zombie. What she becomes in 30 days is up to you. Zombie-chan Wants to Be XX is a 3D action adventure where you take direct control of a frail, unsteady zombie girl and help her grow as she survives 30 days. By day, venture out onto a dangerous island to fight and gather materials. By night, turn what you brought back into new growth. How far will you push your luck? When will you head home? Who will you trust? Every decision shapes Zombie-chan’s body, her relationships, and her ending. DAY — Take Her Into the Unknown You do more than give orders and watch her grow. Take direct control of Zombie-chan as she explores an island stretching from the lab to forests, a village, beaches, and caves. You have a limited number of movement points each day. Better materials await deeper in the island, but if you fall, you lose everything you gathered that day. Head back now, or push into one more area? Every day, the choice is yours. NIGHT — Today’s Materials Become Tomorrow’s Body Back at base, process the genetic materials you collected into DNA. The results vary with the quality of your materials. Invest that DNA in a branching growth tree with passive, melee, and ranged abilities. You cannot unlock everything in a single playthrough. The body you build determines how you fight. 30 DAYS — Time Won’t Wait With each passing day, more of the island opens up—and its threats grow. First come the mutated animals of the forest. Then humans. Then outside forces that see Zombie-chan as nothing more than a target to secure. A day lost is a day you cannot get back. The thirtieth night will come. Take Zombie-chan out into the world. Bring her back alive. Reshape her body. Then face another day. What she becomes after 30 days is your answer to give.
