Strengths

Overwhelming speed and tense arcade racing: the high-speed gameplay of managing boosts, overheating, and Ramjets is widely praised.
Many players feel that it modernly recreates the atmosphere and nostalgia of Star Wars podracing.
The roguelite campaign adds variety across multiple runs and provides motivation for progression and retries.

Weaknesses

For players who do not enjoy roguelite campaigns, repeatedly progressing through the same sections creates a major barrier to entry.
Vehicle customization is primarily cosmetic and lacks depth, disappointing players who expected the detailed tuning that had been suggested.
The launch selection of tracks and campaign content is limited, leading to requests for more maps, story content, and Star Wars-related content.
