WAME Platform Policy
This Platform Policy is provided to outline the operational guidelines and usage standards of the WAME platform. Please review the following information before using the service.
1. Game Information and Release Schedule
Game information registered on WAME, including basic details, release schedules, platforms, regional availability, store links, images, and developer/publisher information, is managed to provide the most accurate data possible.
However, release dates, platform information, available regions, and store links may change due to publisher policies, store policies, regional release policies, or operational circumstances. Such changes may not be reflected on WAME immediately.
Game information displayed on WAME is provided as reference material to assist in game selection. Please verify actual purchase, installation, and playability through the latest information from the respective game publisher or store.
Game information is registered based on official announcements from game publishers, publicly available store information, official social media, and press releases. Changes are targeted to be reflected within 3 business days upon confirmation; however, delays due to external APIs or unverifiable information may be exceptions.
2. Game Registration and Information Modification Policy
Games registered on WAME are listed after review and verification by the WAME internal curation team.
Users, game publishers, and partners may submit the following requests:
- Game registration requests
- Game information correction requests
- Release schedule correction requests
- Store link correction requests
- Incorrect image or description correction requests
- Game verification inquiries
Submitted requests may be accepted, placed on hold, or rejected after review by the WAME team. Not all requests are guaranteed to be implemented; they are processed based on service operational standards and information reliability.
Related inquiries can be submitted through the official Discord community or other official channels designated by WAME.
3. Personalized Recommendations, Rankings, and Curation Policy
WAME may provide personalized recommendations, related game suggestions, rankings, and newsletter curation based on service usage data such as games of interest, preferred genres, favorites, content usage history, reviews, clicks, and views.
Recommendation, ranking, and curation results are provided as reference information to assist users in discovering games. They do not guarantee satisfaction, purchase value, gameplay experience, or commercial success of any specific game.
Rankings and recommendation results may change based on internal criteria, user feedback, content quality, recency, and operational policies.
Rankings and recommendations consider a combination of factors including user interest, latest release dates, review ratings, view counts, save/share frequency, and report history. The weighting of specific factors may be adjusted based on service conditions, and detailed algorithms are not disclosed to prevent manipulation.
4. Review and Rating Policy
Users may submit ratings, reviews, play status, play time, and recommendations for games.
Reviews falling under the following categories may be subject to visibility restrictions, deletion, report processing, account sanctions, or review credibility adjustments:
- Fraudulent reviews
- Advertising or promotional reviews
- Reviews unrelated to the game
- Profanity, defamation, hate speech, or discriminatory language
- Reviews containing spoilers without proper marking
- Reviews that infringe on the rights of others
- Reviews suspected of automation or organized manipulation
- Reviews that repeatedly post identical or similar content
WAME may internally calculate the credibility of reviews or reviewers based on recommendations, downvotes, reports, and deletion history.
Review credibility is a reference metric for service operations and does not guarantee the actual reputation, expertise, or creditworthiness of any specific user.
Review credibility is internally calculated based on review usefulness (recommendation count), report history, deletion history, the reviewer's past activity, and evaluations by other users. Reviews from accounts with excessively low credibility scores may be deprioritized in visibility rankings.
5. Reporting and Content Management Policy
Users may report or request deletion of game information, reviews, posts, comments, external content, or creator content that they believe to be problematic.
Content falling under the following categories may be subject to hiding, visibility restrictions, deletion, or other actions after review by the WAME team:
- Content containing incorrect information
- Content suspected of rights infringement
- Illegal or harmful content
- Defamation, insults, or hate speech
- Advertising or spam content
- Content that disrupts service operations
- Content that violates WAME's platform policy or terms of service
Reports and deletion requests are processed after review by the WAME team. Not all requests are guaranteed to be acted upon.
An initial review is completed within 7 business days of receiving a report. In principle, the outcome is not notified to the reporter. (However, separate communication may be made if a response to the reporter is necessary.) If action is taken on reported content, the action is reflected in the system and the reporter may verify it through in-service notifications.
6. TREND Content and Creator Policy
The TREND page may feature content from creators verified by WAME or registered according to WAME's operational standards.
Published content may include the following formats:
- Game-related video content
- Game-related posts
- Game review and introduction content
- Guides, streaming, and community reaction content
- Game-related content published on external platforms
Inquiries related to creator verification or content registration can be submitted through the official Discord community or other official channels designated by WAME.
WAME may decide to register, display, hide, or remove content based on considerations of content quality, suitability, recency, rights relationships, and service direction.
7. External Content and Copyright Notice
Some pages on WAME may provide content published on external platforms such as YouTube, X, Instagram, Facebook, Bluesky, and Discord in the form of links, embeds, aggregation, or curation.
The copyright and responsibility for external content belong to the original creators or their respective platforms. WAME does not guarantee the content, expressions, accuracy, or continued availability of such content.
Content display on WAME may be changed or discontinued due to policy changes on external platforms, deletion of original posts, privacy setting changes, API restrictions, or embed restrictions.
In cases of rights infringement or requests to discontinue display, the WAME team may take necessary actions after review.
8. Event Policy
Events conducted within WAME or in partnership with game publishers may be subject to changes based on the operational policies and circumstances of the WAME team, affiliates, or the respective game publishers.
Changes may include:
- Changes to event schedules
- Modifications to event content
- Changes to reward conditions
- Early termination of events
- Event cancellation
Event-related changes may be announced through platform notices or related channels.
If fraudulent participation, duplicate participation, automated participation, or submission of false information is identified during event participation, actions such as participation cancellation, reward recovery, or account restrictions may be taken.
The following users may be restricted from event participation:
- Users who have withdrawn or whose accounts have been suspended
- Users suspected of holding multiple accounts as the same person
- Users with a history of fraudulent event participation
- Users with a history of violating WAME's platform policy or terms of service
9. Advertising and Banner Policy
WAME may display advertising content including banners, events, campaigns, and promotions.
Advertising or campaign content may be labeled in a reasonable manner to ensure user awareness.
Data on ad impressions, clicks, and views may be collected for the purposes of ad performance measurement, settlement, service improvement, and fraud prevention.
Abnormal clicks, automated access, repeated manipulation, and internal testing may be excluded from ad performance or settlement calculations.
Content that is paid for or sponsored by game publishers will be labeled with 'Ad', 'Sponsored', or similar designations to ensure user awareness. Labeling methods are applied consistently within the service, such as at the top of banners or the upper-left corner of content.
10. Newsletter and Notification Policy
WAME may provide game recommendations, release information, events, updates, content curation, and advertising information in the form of newsletters or notifications based on user settings or consent.
Users may configure newsletter subscription status, frequency, content type preferences, and preferred language.
WAME may use data such as delivery status, open rates, click rates, delivery failures, and unsubscribe history for service improvement, statistical analysis, personalized recommendations, and content quality enhancement.
Users may opt out of newsletter subscriptions at any time.
11. Points Policy
WAME may award or deduct points to users based on service activities, event participation, review submissions, content engagement, and operational needs.
Point accumulation, usage, deduction, recovery, and expiration standards are governed by operational standards set by WAME.
Points are benefits or activity indicators within the WAME service and cannot be refunded as cash or transferred to third parties.
Awarded points may be recovered or usage may be restricted in the following cases:
- Points obtained through fraudulent means
- Failure to meet event conditions
- Points incorrectly awarded due to system errors
- Violation of terms of service or platform policy
- Account withdrawal, suspension, or usage restrictions
Points have a validity period of 1 year from the date of accumulation, and expired points will be sequentially forfeited without separate notice. Forfeited points cannot be reused or restored. However, event-specific points separately designated by the company may have different validity periods according to the terms of the respective event.
12. Creator, Game Publisher, and Partner Verification Policy
WAME may operate separate verification or invitation procedures for granting creator, game publisher, or partner privileges.
During the verification process, the following information may be requested: company name, business registration number, official social media URLs, contact email, supporting documents, and other necessary materials.
If submission of false documents, identity theft, misrepresentation of qualifications, or misuse of invitation links is confirmed, actions such as verification rejection, privilege revocation, or account restrictions may be taken.
Invitation links or tokens are intended for designated recipients only and may not be transferred, sold, shared with, or misused by third parties.
Verification status is subject to annual renewal in principle, and activity records and qualification requirements may be re-evaluated at the time of renewal.
Verification may be automatically revoked in the following cases:
- Failure to submit requested supporting documents within the deadline
- No service activity history for more than 1 year
- Using privileges for purposes other than the verification intent
13. Content Requests and Partner Submission Policy
Game publishers or partners may submit requests for registration or modification of game information, images, events, advertising materials, campaign assets, and other content.
Submitted materials may be approved, rejected, placed on hold, or partially incorporated after review by the WAME team.
The rights and legality of submitted materials must be guaranteed by the submitter, and materials that infringe on the rights of third parties must not be submitted.
WAME may determine the display status and scope of submitted materials based on service quality, rights relationships, operational standards, and user protection needs.
14. Information Accuracy and Service Limitations
WAME strives to maintain the accuracy and recency of game information, schedules, content, recommendations, rankings, newsletters, and insight data provided on the platform.
However, some information may differ from actual services due to publisher policies, store policies, regional release policies, external platform policies, and user activity data.
Information provided by WAME is for reference purposes only. Final decisions regarding game purchases, downloads, gameplay, event participation, and advertising are the responsibility of the user or game publisher.
15. Service Inquiries and Feedback
If you encounter any of the following during service use, you may submit inquiries or reports:
- Service errors
- Information correction requests
- Game registration requests
- Content deletion or visibility restriction requests
- Rights infringement reports
- Feature improvement suggestions
- Creator or game publisher verification inquiries
- General inquiries
Inquiries can be submitted through the official Discord community or other official channels designated by WAME.
16. Actions for Policy Violations
If a user violates this Platform Policy, the Terms of Service, or applicable laws, WAME may take the following actions progressively or concurrently:
- Warning
- Content hiding or deletion
- Restrictions on certain features including reviews, comments, reports, points, advertising, and campaigns
- Point recovery
- Review credibility adjustments
- Restriction or revocation of creator, game publisher, or partner privileges
- Temporary or permanent account suspension
- Actions in accordance with applicable laws
In cases of serious or urgent violations, actions may be taken first and notification provided afterward.
17. Policy Updates
This Platform Policy may be supplemented, modified, or changed based on service operational circumstances, feature additions, legal changes, or changes in external platform policies.
If changes are made, updates will be announced through platform notices or related channels.
