Strengths

Rusty Lake’s signature bizarre and gloomy atmosphere, distinctive 2D art, and presentation are outstanding.
Creative and intuitive puzzles are well integrated with story progression, providing a strong sense of accomplishment when solved without a walkthrough.
The music and voice acting effectively enhance the game’s unsettling yet appealing atmosphere.

Weaknesses

The puzzles are generally easier than in previous games, which can feel insufficiently challenging for experienced fans.
Some players felt that the main story and playtime were shorter than expected, and that the game as a whole felt somewhat lacking or rushed.
Progression and save bugs have been reported in which necessary items disappear after restarting or re-entering chapters, or achievements and archives are reset.
