Best for Best suited for players who love the original Captain Tsubasa series and value its characters, special moves, and anime-style presentation. It also suits players who prefer fast-paced, exaggerated arcade soccer over complex simulation or who plan to buy it at a discount. Conversely, players who prioritize precise controls, fair AI, a structured career mode, and highly polished story presentation should approach with caution.

Strengths

Faithfully recreates the original's spectacular special moves and character presentation.
The New Hero mode is considered key content that keeps players engaged after clearing the story.
The gameplay delivers the exaggerated action and fun characteristic of arcade soccer.

Weaknesses

Players complain that the CPU goalkeeper and match results feel excessively strong or unfair.
Player switching and basic controls are awkward, and the difficulty rises sharply after the tutorial.
It relies heavily on online matches and lacks a deep, relaxing career mode.
