Generally positive, but a mixed reception with clear concerns about the short content length and voice-recognition and bug issues · 72/100

526 total reviews · 81% positive

Best for It is suitable for players looking for a short, light co-op game to enjoy with friends. It is especially well suited to players who like the unique voice-command gimmick and the cat-and-magic-school atmosphere, and who value laughing together over polish or a long playtime. Conversely, it is difficult to recommend to players who play alone or expect a deep story, a reliable progression system, and substantial long-term content without repetition.

Strengths

A co-op experience that provides fun and laughter when played with friends
A unique and appealing concept centered on memorizing incantations and casting magic with a microphone
Distinctive exploration, platforming sections, and item-retrieval elements in the early stages

Weaknesses

The overall content is short at approximately 2–4 hours, and the latter stages are repetitive
Voice recognition is unstable, with incantation-recognition problems depending on language settings or microphone sensitivity
The checkpoint and save systems are inconvenient, and players must repeat incantations after loading
