Varied, artistic bullet patterns and impressive boss-battle presentation
High-quality, atmospheric music and soundtrack

Weaknesses

Controls can feel awkward because of the high- and low-speed movement systems and movement restrictions while attacking
The standard playtime and story progression are short, leaving insufficient room to develop the characters and emotional arcs
Exploration maps are considered wide, empty, and monotonous, relying heavily on gray, rectangular environments
