Strengths

Faithfully recreates the anime and manga's story and world in 3D, with character interactions and humor also receiving praise.
Offers extensive character customization, including hundreds of outfits and weapons, gear appearance changes by body part, and skill trees.
Provides space-themed semi-open-world exploration, a recreation of the Edens Zero spaceship, and numerous side quests.

Weaknesses

Enemies have excessively high health, and unfavorable stagger and hit-reaction balance makes combat feel prolonged and repetitive.
Skills and ultimate attacks lack sufficient invincibility frames; players are easily interrupted during attacks and struggle to respond to enemy combos.
The story ends abruptly around the anime's second season or the Drakken arc, leaving major plot points and parts of character development unfinished.
