Strengths

The miniature versions of the Touken Danshi are extremely cute, allowing players to comfortably use their favorite characters.
The story is easy to understand, and its quirky changes to the setting and humor have been well received, letting fans enjoy new sides of the characters.
There is no time limit, so beginners and players of various ages can play without pressure.

Weaknesses

Frequent story dialogue is said to slow the pace of this casual puzzle game.
Because there is no time limit and the puzzles are easy, some players feel that the game lacks tension and motivation for repeated play.
The range of possible puzzle connections is not intuitive, and input is restricted while effects activate or blocks are removed, which can make the controls feel sluggish.
