Strengths

The unique gameplay of personally building castles and managing an economy remains compelling even today.
The remaster is high quality, preserving the original balance and core experience while adding visual improvements and modernized features.
There is plenty of long-term content, including the campaign, varied missions, and economic challenges.

Weaknesses

Some missions experience unexplained game crashes.
The game does not sufficiently explain its systems or difficult missions to beginners, creating a high barrier to entry.
Certain defensive strategies, especially massing crossbowmen, are overly powerful and may limit strategic variety.
