Strengths

Precise and smooth movement and controls: Players frequently praise the natural-feeling inertia, jumping, and combat hit detection, saying the character moves as intended.
Unique and beautiful visuals: Cute yet eerie character and environment designs, along with detailed animations, complement the game's atmosphere well.
Appealing world and characters: The dark fairy-tale setting, lovable companions, and distinctive new protagonist are all positively mentioned.

Weaknesses

For a Metroidvania, the difficulty is low and may not provide enough challenge for experienced players.
Some players felt that there are too few bosses and that the boss encounters are less polished than the general exploration.
Some skills overlap in function, weakening the satisfaction of acquiring new abilities.
