Strengths

An emotional and highly relatable story dealing with teenage anxiety, body dysmorphic disorder, cult abuse, and friendship
Strong nostalgia and immersion through a Windows 98/Y2K-inspired laptop interface, blogs, photos, and music
A harmonious blend of investigating information, piecing together clues, and solving creative puzzles

Weaknesses

For some players, fourth-wall-breaking elements such as webcam access, fake Steam chats, and launching Notepad feel conventional and artificial
The ending is effectively determined by a single late-game choice, making repeated playthroughs to see both endings somewhat tedious
Some players feel that the message occasionally comes across as overly preachy
