Strengths

The unique concept combining River City characters with Romance of the Three Kingdoms generals provides strong nostalgia and fun for existing fans.
The expanded 3D maps, encyclopedia, character settings, and clean Korean localization are praised as well-presented content.
The combat itself is fun, with progression through skill combinations, equipment farming, and leveling.

Weaknesses

Vertical-axis movement and hit detection are awkward, while the hitstun and control response for attacks, grabs, and jumps make the combat feel worse than in the original FC games or previous entries.
Equipment farming functions as practically mandatory rather than optional progression, and the damage output and instant-death patterns of some sections and bosses feel unreasonable.
Enemy group attacks and excessive reaction speed prevent skill usage and combat mind games from working properly.
