Under Mythos

Comfort and madness need each other. The warmth of a place to return to is exactly what makes the dread of the abyss come alive. Under Mythos is a dark fantasy JRPG where quiet days at an otherworldly hot-spring inn and the madness waiting beneath it echo against one another. The Story — A cat, searching for their mother A single cat wanders into another world, searching for their mother. What they find is a strange hot-spring inn, where the denizens of that world come to soak and rest. Hoping for a reunion, they work at the inn and care for its curious guests — peaceful days. Yet beneath that ordinary life, an unpredictable mutation is quietly drawing near. This is a story of adventure, of growing up — and a story written for adults. A familiar world, slowly turning to madness It begins in the warmth of a cozy inn full of endearing guests. But the further you go, the more the world you thought you knew begins to shift — quietly, unpredictably — into madness. The soft, creeping dread of cosmic horror seeps into the everyday.
