About WAME and how to use it
Find new and upcoming games, and learn how to read release dates and play information.
What is WAME?
WAME brings together game lists, a release calendar, play information, reviews and related content to help you discover games. Narrow your search by platform and genre, or save games you are interested in to your favorites.
WAME is operated by Blackhoods Inc. Contact cs@wame.is with questions about the service or its information.
Reading game lists and release dates
The New list covers games with a recorded release date in the last 30 days. Upcoming helps you find games that have yet to launch, while All Games is not limited to a release period. If an alternative list appears because there are no results, read the notice above it.
A game may launch on different dates for PC, console and mobile, or in Korea, Japan, North America, Europe and other regions. Choose the platform and release-region filters, then check the platform and region of each schedule on the detail page. Changing the display language does not select a release region.
Labels such as “Expected in 2027” or “Expected at quarter end” do not identify a confirmed day. A date may also be undecided. Check the linked official store or developer announcement before purchasing or reserving a game. Events with a release time may fall on a different date in your selected time zone.
Checking play information
When Steam Deck compatibility, playtime, languages, co-op or controller information is available, expand each item to read its source and check date. Playtime is a reference based on collected user contributions; your actual time depends on how you play.
Unknown and unsupported mean different things. Missing data does not mean a feature is unavailable. Check interface, subtitle and audio languages separately, and distinguish online co-op from local co-op.
Steam-sourced information applies to the Steam version. IGDB describes the game and may not apply unchanged to another platform or edition. Also check the official guidance for the platform and version you plan to use.
Data sources and updates
Play information identifies its source, such as Steam or IGDB. Game descriptions, official channel links, external videos and posts, and user reviews serve different purposes. Use the source and original-content links on detail pages to read more.
A source may change after WAME checks it, and updates may take time to appear. Some games, schedules and support details may be missing. For release dates and purchase conditions, check the latest official announcement and store information.
Reading AI review analysis
AI review analysis summarizes recurring strengths, weaknesses and player experiences in the reviews collected. Check the number of reviews and the analysis date, and read original reviews to see whether they match what you want from the game.
The analysis does not represent every player or WAME’s official assessment. Results may vary with collection coverage, timing and language, and may misinterpret reviews or include inaccurate information. We recommend looking beyond a single score when judging quality or deciding what to buy.
Some AI analysis and company-relationship information may require sign-in. Distinguish a sign-in notice from an actual analysis result.
Corrections and support
If a game has incorrect information, use Report in the More (⋯) menu at the top right of its detail page, or contact the support email below. The FAQ also explains common service questions.
Include the game page URL, the incorrect field, the proposed correction and an official source link so we can check it. Avoid posting contact details or other unnecessary personal information in public posts and reviews.
